Regarding the Transfer of DiaSalt Shares

IA Partners Inc. (President: Hiroshi Murakami; hereinafter “IAP”) is pleased to announce that IA Partners No.1 Investment Limited Liability Partnership, etc., which IAP manages or provides services to, has transferred all of its shares in DiaSalt Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “DiaSalt”) to Mirai no Shioya Co., Ltd., a company established by Japan Salt Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Japan Salt”) for the purpose of acquiring these shares.
Since executing its investment in DiaSalt in March 2023, IAP has worked alongside DiaSalt’s management and staff to strengthen its management foundation and enhance corporate value through initiatives such as separating the company from its former parent company, formulating and implementing medium to long-term business strategies, supporting recruitment, and facilitating growth investments.
IAP has determined that leveraging Japan Salt’s network and sales expertise within the salt industry, specifically through the development of high-value-added products and the strengthening of coordination across manufacturing, sales, and logistics to improve quality and cost competitiveness, would contribute to DiaSalt’s sustainable growth, and thus decided to transfer the shares to Japan Salt. We are confident that, under its new shareholder, DiaSalt will continue to strengthen the business foundation it has cultivated and achieve further growth.
