In 1996, Chihiro joined Japan Development (current Development Bank of Japan). In 2009, he joined DBJ’s leveraged finance team and led domestic and foreign buyouts and Debt MBOs. In Apr 2013, he was seconded to DBI-IA as Director supervising the leveraged financing activities of DBJ-IA, and led the investment team for the co-investment and buyouts. Since Jun 2017, he served as Managing Director (transferred to DBJ-IA in Apr 2020 under his strong request).
Graduated from Keio University (Faculty of Law) and holds Sloan Fellows from Stanford University
